    • vampire candy.
      seriously.
      here’s the synopsis:
Jackie St. George is a corporate spy working (for the moment) for MackyMack Delights and is busy hunting down the newest candy invention by their competitor, Chocofun. One night she succeeds in getting the details about the new secret product but as she prepares to leave she’s confronted by a man who demands to know what she has overheard and threatens her if she doesn’t tell him. Undaunted, she shoots the man – but he doesn’t fall and advances on her until Fletcher Dillon, a self-proclaimed vampire hunter/bookstore manager, saves her. Caught between his zealous hunt for a vampire and her skepticism, she must also deal with the very real worry that the candy may not be what it seems…
I already have another local publisher targeted if they don’t take it but the waiting’s gonna KILL me…
      *whimpers*
had a few agent nibbles, but nothing substantial – they ask for the partial and then turn it down. Pomada has it as of Feb, but dunno yet if they’re interested enough to take me on – I’m going on the “no reply” to be a belated negative.
      *reaches for tea*
      gonna be a LONG week…
      🙂
